The Gold Coast is as diverse as it is incredible. The small strip of coastline may lack in the size department, but it certainly knows how to use what it’s got. Right from the most southern point of Coolangatta to the northern tip of Main Beach, you’ll discover the region is seriously chock-a-block with more action and fun than you’ll ever experience in your life in one place. And just like the lolly store when you were a kid, it’s got every sweet treat you could ever dream of – regardless of what you’re craving. 

If you’re looking for something a little more low key and laid back, you’ll want to make your way down to the southern Gold Coast. Between Burleigh and Coolangatta there’s an inherent feeling of always being on holidays, which is the ideal atmosphere for when you want to throw all your adult responsibilities out of the window and truly embrace the moment. Around this neck of the woods, you’ll find plenty of beachfront locations which views so good, they look like a postcard has come to life. For something equally as fun, yet slightly livelier, head a little further north to Broadbeach and Surfers Paradise. This is where the party starts early and doesn’t wrap up until the early hours of the following morning. It’s the place to be in your really looking to make the most of your time out and live it up like absolute rock stars.

Unlike some other major cities where the partying is restricted to weekends, the Gold Coast seems to go off every night of the week. But we should warn you, it’s the type of place where you can easily lose track of time. It’s not unheard of to head out for a quick drink or two at 5pm with your buddies and then find yourselves rolling back home at 3 am – 2 days later.
